Nearly twenty-five thousand homes in Queensland's southeast found themselves lacking electricity on Monday morning after severe thunderstorms impacted the region, generating powerful gusts topping over 100 km/h.

Massive Ice Stones and Widespread Destruction

Locals witnessed giant hailstones reaching sizes of 7 centimeters in certain regions. Weather authorities verified that multiple regions across Queensland had been impacted by large hailstones.
